Ivan John was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He’s a martial artist, stuntman, and started his journey as an actor. Growing up, Ivan always had an interest in martial arts. Krav Maga was the first martial art form that he developed a passion for to try. Being the independent person that he is, he researched and taught himself the technique of the craft. Ivan delved into many other forms of material arts like Jeet Kune Do, Muay Thai, Kali Escrima, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Sanuces, and Boxing. Along Ivan’s journey studying these many forms of martial arts, he would meet his instructor Amari (who was trained by a student of Bruce Lee). Ivan takes his craft seriously. Martial arts have become the foundation of who he is becoming. In 2019, Ivan booked his first stunt job on a TV Series on Amazon Prime. Soon after that, he would book another stunt job on FX’s Snowfall. Recently, Ivan booked his first acting job, and he looks forward to booking more. Ivan continues to study his craft daily, and you will see more from him soon.
